WHEN TO USE:

During a high intensity workout, you will need this mix 30 minutes prior to your workout to give you a short burst of energy. The mix should be consumed 150-180 minutes before your workout for performance support. It is best to consume it 30 minutes to 2-3 hours before your workout.

How do MCTs and nitrates boost my performance?

Studies have shown that nitric oxide increases blood flow, improves lung function, and strengthens muscle contractions when consumed as a result of nitrates. According to studies, it increases oxygen efficiency without increasing lactate production, thus preventing muscle fatigue while sustaining higher levels of endurance.

How does our pre-workout boost performance if it doesn’t contain creatine and caffeine?

Our pre-workout mix contains synergistic ingredients that work to support your fitness journey in the best way without any nasties. Containing MCT, an easily digested form of fat that provides a burst of energy, it helps reduce the buildup of lactate which helps with endurance. MCT, also known for its fat-burning properties, helps you burn more calories during your workout and boosts healthy bacteria in the gut which boosts your metabolism as well. This mix also contains Ashwagandha, which regulates cortisol, a catabolic hormone that stimulates the breakdown of muscles and affects testosterone production, which is crucial for muscle recovery, repair, and growth. Beets contain nitrates, which is then converted to nitric oxide in the body which increases delivery of oxygen to your muscles, allowing for increased stamina and lung capacity. Lastly Cordyceps increase the body’s production of adenosine triphosphate, (AT), which transfers energy to muscles.

Is it safe for everyday use? How many times can I use this mix in a day?

We recommend consuming only before workouts for the first 2 weeks, (not more than once a day) then gradually increasing consumption based on individual needs when it comes to fitness goals and lifestyle pertaining to intensity levels and athletic performance. We would recommend consuming only one serving a day (10g) unless you are exercising more than once a day at a high level of intensity, then it should be safe to take twice a day (not more than 20g a day and only 10g for one serving).

Is it possible to mix it with protein powder and other pre-workout supplements such as creatine before a workout?

There are no safety issues recorded of MCT having unwanted interactions with other protein powders or pre-workout mixes containing creatine, however caffeine appears to interact with beetroot and prevents the body from receiving some of its performance benefits. If you are going to supplement this mix with other products, to receive its maximum effects, make sure it does not contain caffeine.

Is there a minimum age for consuming this pre-workout?

If your child is under 18, only consume this pre-workout mix on a daily basis if they are a high intensive competing athlete. It is much safer than the alternatives and should only be taken before workouts, games, competitions, or other high intensity training sessions. Please monitor your child and how they react to this mix and always consult with a primary care physician especially if they have pre-existing allergies, are on medications, or have pre-existing health conditions.

Can only people who lift or exercise intensively take this pre-workout?

While this mix is not exclusively for people who lift or exercise intensively and there are many health benefits of Ashwagandha, Cordyceps etc., athletes require more fat and sodium because they lose electrolytes during workouts and burn more fat, which is why this mix contains more fat and sodium.

The ingredients in this mix, which have also been shown to help people who don’t lift and don’t partake in high intensity training, and have been shown to improve metabolism and the overall capacities of their bodies in everyday life, however, the individual should have sufficient amount of physical activity in order to consume the mix. Please be mindful if you begin to feel abdominal discomfort, including bloating, cramping, nausea, gassiness, or diarrhoea, consult your physician and lower your dosage or discontinue use of this mix completely, as this can be an indication that your body already has an excess of what is offered in this mix.

Does it need to be cycled off?

While you should not feel withdrawals from the ingredients in this pre-workout mix, if you discontinue taking this mix but you continue exercising out at the same level of intensity, you may notice a difference. Weaning off any supplement, herbs, or vitamins that you have been taking consistently allows your body to gradually transition into no longer depending on it. It is recommended to not take this mix daily for more than 6 months at a time due to MCT being a fat which can lead to fat build up around the liver.

Who is this pre-workout NOT for? Can people who have diabetes, PCOS, liver and kidney issues safely consume the pre-workout?

MCT has been shown to be beneficial for kidney health, but it has also been shown to have unwanted side effects on those with liver or heart issues, especially fatty liver disease and heart disease, as supplementing with it can cause excess fat buildup around the liver and heart. If you are suffering from liver or heart issues, you should consult your primary care physician before taking this pre-workout mix.

By reducing stress and anxiety, balancing blood sugar, and improving fertility, some people with PCOS have found Ashwagandha to be effective in treating their symptoms. Nevertheless, if you gain weight around your torso/hips and have acne around your chin, this could be caused by increased testosterone levels, and Ashwagandha has been known to boost testosterone levels. If Ashwagandha aggravates your PCOS symptoms, please consult your doctor.

Is it okay to mix two or three supplements together?

You can consume them together as long as you keep yourself hydrated! Please keep in mind that All Day Energy cannot be consumed with Sleep Like A Baby since they are meant to be consumed at different times.
